The article is devoted to the problem of the origin and essence of the phenome-non of fascism as a natural product of capitalism, which can justifiably be qualified as a "dis-ease of the social organism." Based on the Marxist methodology of analyzing social processes, the author argues that the underlying cause of the phenomenon of fascism in Europe in the first third of the twentieth century is not the "dictatorship of financial capital" itself, but bourgeois industrial relations, which form the basis and essence of the entire social system as a whole.
