AFTER LIBERATION: POSTSTRUCTURALIST DECONSTRUCTION OF ANARCHIST METAPHYSICS
Keywords:
poststructuralism, anarchism, arche, biopolitics, deconstruction, subjectivation, dispositive, M. Foucault, G. AgambenAbstract
The article analyses the evolution of anarchist thought: from 19th‑century classical
anarchism, which reproduced the metaphysical logic of arche through its appeal to a
non‑authoritarian human nature, to 20th‑century poststructuralist critique. Drawing on the concepts
of J. Derrida, M. Foucault and G. Agamben, it demonstrates how the rejection of essentialism
transforms the understanding of freedom – not as a return to essence, but as a process of
subjectivation and an ethics of resistance. Particular attention is paid to the reinterpretation of
the concepts of revolution, power, nature and the subject.
