THE PHENOMENON OF ALIENATION AND CONTRADICTION OF MODERN CIVILIZATION: LINES OF COINCIDENCE

The article is devoted to understanding the category of alienation developed in the Marxist philosophical tradition. The author focuses on the role that alienation plays in the spread of contradictory phenomena and trends in social life in the space of modern capitalist civilization. The alienation of a person from his ancestral essence and from another person provokes social atomization, a crisis of human identity, the affirmation of the ideology of consumption, dehumanization of interpersonal relations, etc.
