The important assessment criterion of the motor transport enterprise efficiency in limited financial conditions for maintaining a warehouse of spare parts is the coefficient of the vehicle technical readiness.
There are various methods for calculating the formation of the spare parts warehouse, but they must also take into account the limited financial resources that are available at the enterprise to maintain the spare parts warehouse, and provide for the effective distribution of these resources.
The need to improve the methodology is based on important quality characteristics of the motor transport
enterprise work, one of which is the coefficient of the vehicle technical readiness, which is determined for the part of the i-th type, as the ratio of the time of proper operation to the sum of the time of proper operation and forced downtime of the vehicle, determined for one and the same calendar period.
In the future, when carrying out the necessary calculations and obtaining data on the group of parts under consideration, it is possible to draw a conclusion about the advisability of storing spare parts of a certain range in the warehouse of the motor transport enterprise.
