International Support for the Organization of the Entrepreneurial Activity in the Field of the Dangerous Goods Transportation

The article structures and characterizes the main international institutions, conventions and agreements that regulate the entrepreneurial activity in the field of the dangerous goods transportation. The multilevel system of the national legislation of countries participating in the international transportation of dangerous goods, which covers the supranational, transnational and national levels, as well as the level of subjects and municipalities, is considered. The parameters of the international transport market are analyzed. This made it possible to draw the following conclusions: first, the share of dangerous goods in the world is about 50 % of the global volume of the freight traffic; secondly, the main mode of transport for the transportation of dangerous goods is rail; thirdly, the enterprises engaged in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and mining industries are the senders and recipients of dangerous goods; fourth, the analysis of the market geographical structure for the dangerous goods transportation have showed that the largest share falls on Asia and the Pacific Ocean.
