Information Technologies in the System of the Business Process Logistics Service

The validity, effectiveness and transparency of management decisions in the system of business process logistics services depend on the timeliness and accuracy of information data on the results of the activities of various subsystems and organizational units of enterprises directly involved in the process of implementing customer orders. The need to collect, process and analyze data on the external and internal environment of enterprises, potential contractors and partners, the quality and level of logistics services for business processes actualizes the need for the formation of effective information support for management processes.
The theoretical and methodological foundations of the information technologies use in the system of business process logistics services are substantiated.
The logistics services for business processes are aimed at optimizing the management of economic flows, as well as organizational, economic, technical, technological and social processes in the logistics chains in order to
increase the level and quality of customer service, reduce the duration of business cycles and minimize total costs within individual logistics links.
The mechanism for the subsystems functioning of the business process logistics services is proposed. At the input of the logistics service subsystem of business processes, data is accumulated on the state of the internal and external environment of the enterprise: information on financial and production capabilities, data on the effectiveness, quality and speed of logistics services, information on counterparties in supply chains, the state of logistics business processes, development forecasts internal and external environment, etc. The presented model indicates that the inputs of the mechanism are transformed into its outputs using the tools of methodological, organizational and information support. The basis of the mechanism for managing the subsystems of logistics services for business processes is the economic and social interests of the founders and owners of the business, the goals and strategic guidelines for the development of the enterprise, and the conditions of the external environment. At the output of the business process logistics service mechanism, promising directions and a strategy for the development of logistics services, the possibility of cooperation with logistics service providers and the choice of 3PL operators, options for the development of a logistics service system are justified, the expected results of the management decisions taken are evaluated.
Since the effective implementation of the proposed mechanism involves the widespread use of the information technology, in the course of the study, modern information systems and technologies for the logistics service of business processes are systematized, and the requirements that must be met by the information and technological support of a modern enterprise are summarized.
