Assessment of Operational Reliability of Chinese Passenger Cars Operating on Roads of the Russian Federation

In recent years, the Russian automotive market has undergone significant changes due to the introduction of
international sanctions and the suspension of car supplies from Western and South Korean brands. In response, Chinese car manufacturers have significantly increased their presence in the country. Chinese cars, such as Haval, Chery, and BYD, are becoming increasingly popular among Russian consumers, which necessitates a detailed assessment of their operational reliability, especially in cold climates and under various road conditions.
The article analyzes the operational reliability of Chinese cars in Russian road and climate conditions. The main attention is paid to identifying the key factors affecting the durability and reliability of these vehicles.
Current problems related to the quality of assembly, maintenance and repairability of Chinese cars are identified, and recommendations are formulated to improve their performance characteristics under operating conditions in the Russian Federation.
